Salad and Continental Onions: Very popular in salads and stir fry cooking we grow our onions on raised beds to give the tiny seeds the best start possible. The Continentals, also called Jumbo Onions, are large Salad Onions about the size of a golf ball. They look great, have a mild flavour and work well either raw in a salad or cooked. We have specialist picking teams who are experienced in the pulling, stripping and banding of the onions.
